Your relationship with Me is no different from the relationships people have with one another. Your interactions begin with a conversation. If the conversation goes well, friendship develops. And if that goes well, those involved will experience a feeling of Oneness — of communion. That is exactly what happens with Me.

First of all, we have a conversation. Everyone experiences their conversations with God in their own way — and in different ways at different times. It will always be a two-way conversation, just like the one we are having now. The conversation may take place ‘in your head’, or on paper — or it may be one in which My answers take longer, reaching you through the next song you hear, the next film you watch, the next lecture you attend, the next article you read, or a passing remark from a friend you meet ‘by chance’ in the street. Once you understand that we are in constant dialogue, it becomes possible to move towards friendship.
